Customer Appreciation Events Planned
Korea Racing Authority's LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam (headed by Eom Youngseok) announced that it will hold the 20th anniversary celebration event, the "Lucky Horse Party," over two days on September 27 and 28.
Opened in 2005, LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam is the largest horse-themed family park in the Busan Gyeongnam region, built on a 1.25 million square meter site. In addition to horse racing, it has established itself as a popular family outing destination in western Busan through amusement facilities, sports facilities, and year-round festivals. Over the past 20 years, the park has welcomed a cumulative total of approximately 16 million visitors and has hosted races for 2,739 days, playing a central role in the development of the domestic horse racing industry.
This anniversary event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 27th, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 28th, at Derby Square and near the finish line. On the first day, there will be a local residents' singing contest, a children's cheerleading performance, a science magic show, and busking performances. On the second day, singer Seo Moontak, musical actor Kim Jiwoon, and singer-songwriter Kwon Min will perform on stage.
In addition, a 20th anniversary commemorative sculpture and photo zone will be set up in front of the grandstand and at Derby Square, and an SNS certification event will also be held. Special programs such as a horse badge mailbox, Geumgwan Gaya cultural experiences, and the Lucky Horse cheering event are planned, along with a fan signing event by Korea's top female jockey Kim Hyesun, offering visitors a unique opportunity to meet her.
There will also be a wide variety of food and experience booths. From snacks available at food trucks to 13 different hands-on programs including face painting, horse drawing, and keyring making, the festival is expected to offer fun for the whole family.
Eom Youngseok, head of the park, expressed his gratitude to customers who have visited LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam over the past 20 years and said he hopes everyone will have an enjoyable and meaningful time through the diverse performances and experiences offered.
