GH Recognized for Excellence in ESG Management... Wins Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award at National Contribution Awards
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award in the ESG Management category at the '2025 National Contribution Awards' held on the 23rd.
Since introducing its ESG management system in 2021, GH has led public sector ESG management by becoming the first local public enterprise to implement monetized measurement of ESG performance. As of 2023, GH's ESG performance amounts to 1.4623 trillion won.
GH has also pioneered the construction of the nation's first 13-story modular housing, reducing carbon emissions by 35%, and has established a plan to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050.

In terms of governance, GH has strengthened transparency and communication by being the first public corporation to disclose construction cost information and by launching the 'Resident Shareholders Group,' which allows residents to participate in policy implementation.
