View original imageAt the AO Spine Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand from September 18 to 21, Obu Kwang delivered a presentation on September 19. He shared the clinical research results of minimally invasive surgery that combined oblique lateral interbody fusion (OLIF) and unilateral biportal endoscopy (UBE), performed at Haeundae Bumin Hospital from 2024 to June 2025, drawing significant attention.
Earlier, on September 5, he gave an invited lecture on OLIF surgery at the Asia Spine 2025 conference, actively exchanging views with spine specialists from across Asia. In addition, Obu Kwang has consistently presented clinical research findings at various academic meetings, including the Spine Endoscopy Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regular Conference and the Spine Deformity Society, continuing his academic activities. His efforts to establish clinical evidence for endoscopic spine surgery, which minimizes the recovery burden for patients, have drawn attention from the medical community.
