"Drawing in the Air" Donated to Inspire Growth
Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon) held a tape-cutting ceremony on the afternoon of September 22 at Hanaulteo to commemorate the donation of a sculpture by alumnus Kwon Dalsul.
Kwon Dalsul, a renowned sculptor representing the Busan region and an alumnus of Pukyong National University, donated his sculpture "Drawing in the Air" in support of the university's development, ahead of its 80th founding anniversary and 30th anniversary of integration next year.
Sculptor Kwon Dalsul stated, "This work is themed on a return to humanity, expressing the most human traces through lines and surfaces rather than rigid lines. I hope that students, faculty, and all members of the university community will feel the spirit of infinite expansion in this piece."
Pukyong National University installed this 3.9-meter-tall sculpture at Hanaulteo, a representative rest area on the Daeyeon Campus, so that both students and local residents can enjoy it.
