Korea Zinc announced on the 22nd that the 5th Industrial Safety and Health Video Contest had concluded successfully.

View original imageThis contest was organized as part of the company's internal safety management initiatives to raise safety and health awareness among employees and to promote a culture of safety practices. Marking its fifth year, the competition received a total of 24 entries, including 16 long-form and 8 short-form videos.
The judging process incorporated input from the safety team, executives, external experts, and votes from all employees, collecting a wide range of opinions and ensuring objectivity. Various winners were selected in both the long-form and short-form categories, with total prize money amounting to approximately 12.6 million won. The awards ceremony was held on the 18th in the main conference room of the Onsan Smelter headquarters.
Kim Seunghyun, head of the Onsan Smelter at Korea Zinc, stated, "This contest has gone beyond formal education to become a platform where employees of all generations and ranks voluntarily consider and share ideas about safety. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our safety culture through various activities, based on the understanding that 'safety is everyone's responsibility.'"
