Gwangju Bukgu to Host '2025 Job Matching Day'

Gwangju Bukgu will host the '2025 Job Matching Day' on September 24 at 2 p.m. at the Bukgu Happiness Harmony Center, connecting job seekers with recruiting companies.
According to Bukgu on September 22, 'Job Matching Day' has been held annually since 2019 to provide job seekers with opportunities to strengthen their employability and secure employment, while offering companies a platform to discover outstanding talent.
This year, over 20 employment support organizations, including the Gwangju Employment and Labor Office and the Gwangju Employers Federation, will participate. On-site, a range of customized programs for job seekers will be available, including employment policy promotion booths, special employment lectures, recruitment consulting, and on-site job interviews. At the policy promotion booths, job seekers can learn about employment support projects led by the government and related agencies. In the special lecture, Hansol Kim, CEO of Soldesign, will give a talk on 'Generating Income Using Online Platforms.'
The recruitment consulting will feature professionals from financial and public institutions such as Gwangju Bank, Korea Power Exchange, KEPCO KDN, Korea Internet & Security Agency, and the Arts Council Korea. They will share information about their organizations, recruitment schedules, job roles, and employment tips. Four promising companies will conduct in-depth interviews with job seekers on-site, which may lead directly to employment.
