It is geographically close to Korea and includes the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, making it a place with high familiarity with Korean cuisine and strong brand awareness of Kyochon. In addition, Jilin Province has distinct seasonal dining trends: demand for delivery surges in the harsh winter, while dining out and in-store visits become more active in the summer. Kyochon has developed a menu and operational strategy that can accommodate both delivery and in-store dining to meet these changing demands.
In particular, the so-called “banju culture,” where people enjoy food and beer together, is well established in northeastern China. Building on this food culture, Kyochon plans to introduce not only its domestic menu but also a variety of localized dishes, while strengthening its lineup of alcoholic beverages such as beer and highballs to broaden its appeal to consumers.
