Samsung Securities to Hold "Stock Investment Level-Up Challenge"
Samsung Securities announced on September 22 that it will hold the "Stock Investment Level-Up Challenge" from September 29 to November 7 to support customers in achieving successful investments.
This investment competition is structured as a "level-up" challenge, where participants progress through stages like a game. With a single application, participants can gain experience in both domestic and international stock investments, while also having the chance to win prize money and various benefits. To participate, customers must hold at least 1 million won in stocks and cash assets in a Samsung Securities comprehensive account. Applications can be submitted in advance, starting before the competition begins, and will be accepted until November 2, which marks the start of the final week of the event.
The "Stock Investment Level-Up Challenge" by Samsung Securities consists of three stages, offering participants a total of five opportunities to win prize money and gifts.
For Level 1, all participants who achieve a cumulative return of more than 1% in either the domestic or international stock market will receive a 3,000-won mobile gift certificate. For Level 2, customers who achieve a cumulative return of more than 2% in both the domestic and international stock markets will equally share a total prize pool of 70 million won, which will be paid out in US dollars.
For Level 3, the top 300 participants with the highest combined cumulative returns from domestic and international stocks will receive prizes according to their rankings. Those ranked from 1st to 100th will each receive 200,000 won, while those ranked from 101st to 300th will each receive 150,000 won. However, participants must hold at least 1 million won in base assets and must have traded at least 1 million won each in domestic and international stocks. The final returns will be calculated as of the challenge’s end date, November 7.
In the "Stock Investment Level-Up Challenge," eligible markets and products for trading include KOSPI, KOSDAQ, and ETP products for domestic stocks, and for international stocks, all stocks and ETP products listed in the United States, Europe, China, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Meanwhile, a variety of special events will be held alongside the Level-Up Challenge. All customers who apply to participate by September 28, during the pre-registration period, and hold at least 1 million won in base assets to actually take part in the challenge will receive a coffee coupon. In addition, if the KOSPI closing price on November 7 is higher than on September 29, a "Wishing for a Bullish Market Event" will be held, where 500 customers who meet the Level 2 requirements will be randomly selected to receive a 30,000-won coupon.
