Freshly Brewed Convenience Store Coffee Now via Quick Commerce... CU Launches 'get Coffee' Delivery Service
Launching at Over 2,000 Stores Nationwide via Baemin Store
Expansion Planned to Over 4,000 Locations by Year-End
CU, a convenience store operated by BGF Retail, announced on September 22 that it will deliver its freshly brewed coffee, "get Coffee," via quick commerce services.
The coffee delivery service will initially launch at around 2,000 stores nationwide through Baemin Store, with plans to expand to over 4,000 locations by the end of this year as more franchise owners apply. The key advantages are that consumers can purchase products without visiting the store in person, and they can enjoy espresso coffee made from freshly ground beans even during hours when specialty coffee shops are closed.
Stores participating in this coffee delivery service have been equipped with sealing paper and delivery-only plastic carriers to ensure safe delivery. To facilitate smooth delivery, the maximum order quantity is limited to four cups in total, including both hot and iced options.
Baemin Store will offer a 3,000 won discount coupon until September 24, and a 5,000 won discount coupon from September 25 to 30. Soon, the get Coffee delivery service will also be available on Pocket CU. In addition, discussions are underway to make the service available on various delivery platforms such as Yogiyo and Naver Now Delivery.
