Uijeongbu City Discusses Global Educational Cooperation with An Giang University in Vietnam
Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) welcomed a delegation of faculty members from An Giang University in Vietnam at the City Hall’s Council Hall (Situation Room) on September 18 and discussed ways to enhance global educational cooperation.

View original imageThis visit was organized to share the establishment and operational framework of the Uijeongbu Urban Education Foundation and to lay the groundwork for international educational exchange. The delegation consisted of 27 members, including Bo Van Thang, former president, department heads, and faculty members.
The delegation reviewed the organizational management of the Uijeongbu Urban Education Foundation, youth and lifelong education programs, and community-linked projects, sharing a variety of operational case studies. They also toured the foundation’s facilities and received an explanation of the current status of youth education programs and lifelong learning initiatives.
The two institutions discussed the potential for joint projects and expanded educational exchanges through this visit, and explored concrete measures to strengthen global educational cooperation.
