KB Life President Jung Moonchul: "Youth Gambling Issue Requires Responsibility from All of Society"
Jung Moonchul, president of KB Life, announced on the 19th that he participated in a relay campaign to prevent illegal youth gambling.
This challenge is part of a broader, society-wide campaign organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency that began in March. Its purpose is to raise public awareness and highlight the need for prevention so that young people are not exposed to the temptations of illegal gambling.
The campaign operates as a relay, where each participant takes a certified photo with a message about youth gambling prevention and nominates the next participant. Jung Moonchul joined the challenge on August 19 after being nominated by Lee Hwanju, president of KB Kookmin Bank. He continued the relay by sharing a certified photo with the slogan, "Illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is a scam crime that you can never win." This photo can also be found on the official KB Life Instagram account.
Jung Moonchul nominated Kim Cheolju, chairman of the Korea Life Insurance Association, and Kim Taehun, CEO of Banksalad, as the next participants in the relay.
Jung Moonchul stated, "The issue of youth gambling is not a problem for any single individual or group, but a serious challenge that our entire society must take responsibility for and solve together. I sincerely support the youth who will lead the future generations of Korea, hoping they will grow up healthy with sound values."
