View original imageAccording to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected rainfall for the two days from September 19 to 20 is 20 to 60 millimeters in Incheon, southern Gyeonggi Province, the five West Sea islands, southern Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong region, the Jeolla region, and the Gyeongbuk region; 10 to 60 millimeters in Jeju Island; and 10 to 40 millimeters in Seoul, northern Gyeonggi Province, central and northern Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, and the Gyeongnam region. The Yeongdong area of Gangwon Province is expected to receive 20 to 60 millimeters of rain through September 21.
The highest daytime temperatures are forecast to range from 21 to 28 degrees Celsius. As of 5:00 a.m., the current temperatures are 19.1 degrees in Seoul, 19.8 degrees in Incheon, 19.3 degrees in Suwon, 15.5 degrees in Chuncheon, 18.6 degrees in Gangneung, 21.3 degrees in Cheongju, 19.9 degrees in Daejeon, 20.1 degrees in Jeonju, 19.5 degrees in Gwangju, 24.1 degrees in Jeju, 20.1 degrees in Daegu, 21.0 degrees in Busan, 20.4 degrees in Ulsan, and 19.9 degrees in Changwon.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at "good" levels nationwide, due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of rainfall.

Waves in the sea are expected to reach 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
