Previously, the People Power Party had agreed to launch the joint committee, stating that it would separate political strife from livelihood issues. However, it appears that the party is now protesting after the Democratic Party passed the amendment to the Government Organization Act at the first bill review subcommittee of the Administrative Safety Committee earlier that day.
