To achieve this, NextTrade will suspend trading of a total of 66 stocks-11 from the KOSPI market and 55 from the KOSDAQ market-starting from the 22nd. As a result, the number of stocks available for trading on NextTrade will decrease from 716 to 650.

The Enforcement Decree of the Capital Markets Act stipulates that the average daily trading volume of an alternative trading system over the most recent six months must not exceed 15% of the average daily trading volume of the Korea Exchange (KRX).

With the initial application date set for the 30th, NextTrade began sequentially suspending trading of 79 stocks starting from August 20.

A NextTrade representative explained, "For long-term and stable operations, as well as to enhance reliability, it is becoming increasingly important to maintain the stability of tradable stocks rather than frequently changing them. We have established a forecasting system for trading volume ratios and will monitor the projected end-of-month ratios on a daily basis, while taking preemptive measures if necessary."
