The deliberation committee consists of 48 members in total, with 12 representatives each from faculty, students, staff, and alumni.
Previously, the deliberation committee held several rounds of discussions over a two-month period starting in July. They identified key issues together, followed by an intensive two-day, one-night debate that comprehensively addressed the subject.
This town hall meeting is part of the public discussion process and is intended to gather opinions from a broader range of university members on the draft of "Key Issues in the Engineering Transition and the University's Future Development Direction" that emerged from the discussions.
The town hall meeting will be attended by 220 students, 76 faculty members, 76 staff members, and 68 alumni, totaling 440 participants. To ensure smooth proceedings, the event will be divided into four sessions, with two sessions held each day.
