Supporting Safety and Convenience for Grave Visitors
Uljugun in Ulsan announced on September 18 that it will temporarily open forest roads in the area from September 22 to October 13 to provide convenience for those visiting graves and performing grass-cutting during the Chuseok holiday.
There are a total of 50 forest roads in Uljugun, spanning 144.4 kilometers. The county plans to open only the sections where vehicle traffic will not be disrupted, taking into account the management conditions of each road. Certain routes with safety concerns will be excluded.
To ensure a pleasant environment, the county has already completed grass-cutting on 48 routes and is also carrying out additional work such as removing surrounding undergrowth, repairing road surfaces, and maintaining drainage ditches to prevent any inconvenience to travelers.
