On September 18, K Bank announced that it has received designation from the Financial Services Commission for three innovative financial services utilizing generative AI technology.
The newly designated services include: ▲ Generative AI app translation service ▲ Generative AI consultation assistant service ▲ Generative AI internal work productivity enhancement service, totaling three services. These are expected to improve customer convenience, lay the foundation for expanding the customer base, and enhance work efficiency.
The 'Generative AI App Translation Service' is a feature that provides real-time multilingual translation of key content within the K Bank app. Supporting a variety of languages, including English, Chinese, and Vietnamese, it has significantly improved access to financial services for foreign customers residing in Korea.
Going beyond simple translation, it offers natural translations that preserve context and meaning, accurately conveying financial terminology without distortion, thereby increasing both understanding and trust. It is expected to serve as an important foundation for expanding the foreign customer base and pioneering new markets in the future.
The 'Generative AI Consultation Assistant Service' is an intelligent consultation support system that analyzes customer information and consultation history to provide real-time, customized guidance to consultants.
By leveraging generative AI, it proactively predicts customer issues and provides both the reason for consultation and solution guides. This enables consultants to deliver professional-quality responses regardless of experience level, and is expected to reduce average consultation times so that more customers can receive prompt service.
The 'Generative AI Internal Work Productivity Enhancement Service' helps perform various tasks-such as document creation, information search, and code generation-more quickly and accurately.
