Sacheon City Signs 2025 Wage and Collective Agreement for Public Employees
Five Rounds of Negotiations
Based on Mutual Trust and Respect Between Labor and Management
Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province (Mayor Park Dongsik) announced on the 18th that it had signed the "2025 Wage and Collective Agreement" with the General Labor Union of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions General Public Federation (Chairman Kang Donghwa) on the 16th.
This agreement includes a 2.5% increase in base salary, an increase in the regular bonus, the expansion of long-term service leave, and the introduction of special leave for children taking the college entrance exam, among other improvements to working conditions.
The city held five rounds of negotiations based on mutual trust and respect between labor and management, and reached an agreement through active communication and cooperation from both sides.
With the signing of this wage and collective agreement, the working environment for Sacheon City's public employees is expected to improve. The city plans to continue doing its utmost to provide stable administrative services based on labor-management coexistence and cooperation.
