These field unit CSR activities involve conducting joint inspections of key military combat equipment together with the Army, strengthening maintenance support to increase operational availability, and creating conditions to ensure full combat readiness.
Hyundai Rotem is expanding its year-round joint inspections of combat equipment and its rotational preventive maintenance activities, visiting more than 70 units including the 11th Mobile Division and air defense battalions. This is intended to support the Army's combat readiness posture so that it can respond to wartime situations at any time.
The Hyundai Rotem "Mobile Support Team," composed of defense equipment management experts, has visited field units directly to identify support elements that will improve the operational availability of combat equipment. The equipment subject to maintenance and inspection includes not only the existing K2 tanks, wheeled armored vehicles, and decontamination devices, but also obstacle-clearing tanks, 30mm wheeled anti-aircraft guns, and equipment whose warranty period has expired.
In addition, Hyundai Rotem continues to provide technical training support and exchange programs to enhance the technical proficiency of field maintenance officers. The company also runs a program to support outstanding maintenance officers selected from each unit, aiming to increase both direct and indirect support for performance improvement of operational equipment.
