Gangjin County Holds Training for Small Business Owners... "Strengthening Alleyway Commercial District Competitiveness"
Gangjin County in South Jeolla Province announced on September 17 that it held a capacity-building training session for local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing practical management strategies and support measures.
The training, which took place the previous day, was led by Moon Yougeun, Head of the Small Enterprise and Market Service Center, and Kim Taegyun, Head of the Gangjin-eup Autonomous Commercial District Revitalization Task Force. The main topics included the latest policies and management strategies, designation of alleyway-style shopping districts, customer service competency enhancement, support programs, and online utilization methods. The training was well received as the content could be immediately applied in the field.
Participants commented, "Hearing directly about the support programs helped us understand how to implement them," and "The service enhancement training was useful in practice." Organizations preparing to form shopping district associations also expressed satisfaction, saying, "We were able to resolve difficulties in the process of forming an organization."
