Fasoo Supplies 'AI-R Privacy' to Supreme Court... Accelerates Leadership in AI Market
Fasoo announced on the 17th that it has supplied its artificial intelligence (AI)-based personal information protection solution, AI-R Privacy, to the Supreme Court.
Fasoo is expanding its customer base not only to the Supreme Court, but also to public institutions, telecommunications companies, and financial firms. In addition to AI-R Privacy, the company is expanding its portfolio of agentic applications, including AI-R DLP, a sensitive information management solution for public AI usage, and Ellm, an enterprise on-premises small language model (sLLM). Fasoo is solidifying its position in both personal information protection and the enterprise AI market.
Fasoo supplied AI-R Privacy for the “Introduction of Commercial Software for Personal Information De-identification to Support Litigation” project, led by the Supreme Court’s Criminal Electronic Litigation Promotion Group, which is at the forefront of the digital transformation of the judicial system. Public institutions are required to ensure that various documents made public through viewing services do not contain personal information. Legal documents such as court rulings are complex and difficult, making it challenging to detect personal information. By leveraging AI, the solution can accurately and efficiently detect sensitive information within documents and PDFs by understanding their context.
Fasoo’s AI-R Privacy, selected by the Supreme Court, recently became the first in the industry to receive GS certification. It boasts high accuracy in detecting personal information. The solution utilizes AI-based natural language processing (NLP) technology, optical character recognition (OCR) technology, and Fasoo’s proprietary deep learning technology. By applying a transformer-based language model, it can understand context even in complex sentences and detect and mask various types of personal information, including names, resident registration numbers, addresses, bank account numbers, and card numbers.
In addition to the Supreme Court, public institutions, telecommunications companies, and financial firms are efficiently protecting personal information contained in unstructured data such as PDFs, images, and documents on servers-data that was previously difficult to detect using conventional methods-through AI-R Privacy. The solution detects and masks complex text or handwritten personal information to ensure protection, and it also detects sensitive information in files transmitted externally from network-linked systems to prevent data leakage.
It is also being used to de-identify personal information within vast amounts of research data, ensuring that AI training datasets do not contain personal information when building AI systems within organizations.
Ko Donghyun, Executive Director at Fasoo, explained, "AI-R Privacy not only protects personal information for public institutions and businesses, but also supports the innovative use of data required for AI training." He added, "Based on the experience and trust we have built in the public, financial, and enterprise sectors, Fasoo will continue to lead the market with its strong AI capabilities and deep understanding of data."
