Gwangju Office of Education to Hold "Science Reading Festival" at Gwangju Science Museum on the 20th
The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the "2025 Science Reading Festival" on September 20 at the National Gwangju Science Museum, bringing together students, parents, faculty, and citizens. By combining reading and science, this integrated event aims to foster critical thinking skills essential for the future, while providing an enjoyable and educational experience for the entire educational community.
This event is organized in connection with the "Back to Books, Together with Books" reading campaign and the ambitious "Nobel+On" science project, both promoted by the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education. Under the slogan "Open with Books, Enrich with Science!", various programs will link reading and science.
The main programs include: ▲ an exhibition of award-winning books from the elementary school integrated science and ecology class book contest ▲ a reading quiz competition for middle school students on integrated science and ecology class books ▲ a book concert hosted by the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration ▲ and science experience booths. In addition, there will be photo zones, busking performances, and food trucks to offer entertainment for families and visitors.
