Foundation to Hold Nationwide 'Deep Tech Scale-Up in Small but Strong Special Zones' Investment Roadshow
The Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on September 17 that it will hold the "2025 Deep Tech Scale-Up Relay Investment Roadshow for Small but Strong Special Zones" in seven small but strong special zones nationwide from September 30 to November.
The investment roadshow will be held in the following locations: Gimhae (September 30), Naju (October 16), Pohang (October 23), Gumi (October 28), Jinju (October 30), Ulju (November 12), and Changwon (November 13).
The Foundation is organizing the investment roadshow to help expand investment opportunities by connecting deep tech companies and research institute spin-offs in the field of national strategic technologies, as well as various purpose-driven funds specialized for small but strong special zones, including the Research and Development Special Zone Fund (Special Zone Fund).
At the first stop of the investment roadshow, which will take place in the Gimhae Small but Strong Special Zone in Gyeongnam, the Yeong-Honam Special Zone Fund and the Regional Focus Fund, both established in January, as well as investment funds for national strategic technologies, will be introduced. This will be followed by investment presentations and consultations between fund management companies and small but strong special zone companies.
