Export-Import Bank of Korea Holds Briefing Session on Export Crisis Response for Honam Region

Introduction of Various Policy-Based Financial Support Programs
The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on September 17 that it held a "Joint Policy-Based Financial Support System Briefing Session with Related Organizations" for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies located in the Honam region.
The briefing session, which took place the previous day at the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Korea International Trade Association in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, was attended by approximately 70 participants, including representatives from policy-related organizations such as the Export-Import Bank of Korea, the Korea International Trade Association, and the Korea Federation of Middle Market Enterprises, as well as employees from the Export-Import Bank of Korea's clients and member companies of related organizations.
During the session, the Export-Import Bank of Korea provided information on a wide range of policy-based financial support systems, including financial support programs for SMEs and mid-sized companies, special crisis response programs, and the Supply Chain Stabilization Fund, covering both financial and non-financial services.

Lee Wongyun, Head of SME and Mid-Sized Company Finance at the Export-Import Bank of Korea, stated, "We will do our utmost to reflect the voices from the field in our financial support policies and help local SMEs and mid-sized companies overcome their current crises, which are caused by export tariffs and the global economic downturn."
