Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the "Helicopter Ride Experience" at the 2025 DroneBot Festival until September 30.

View original imageThis helicopter ride experience is designed to promote cooperation between the public, private, and military sectors. On November 1, the event will be held for 100 residents of Gwangjeok-myeon, where the festival takes place, and on November 2, it will be open to 150 general citizens and visitors.
The helicopter to be used for the experience is the Army’s main utility helicopter, the KUH-1 "Surion." The 15-minute course will take off from the Ganap-ri Airfield, fly over Yangju City Hall, and the Hoecheon and Okjeong New Town areas, before returning to the point of departure.
