"K-pop Hero Voting: A Path to Supporting National Heroes"
Mnet Plus and Hope Bridge Launch "Hero Support Event"
The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Lim Chaecheong) announced on September 16 that it will hold the "Hero Support Event" in collaboration with Mnet Plus, the global K-pop content platform operated by CJ ENM (CEO Yoon Sanghyun).
This event, themed "Which K-pop stage do you think is the ultimate hero?", will be conducted as a fan-participation voting event. A donation of 10 million won will be made to Hope Bridge in the name of the artist who receives the most votes.
The donation will be used to improve the working conditions and support the safety activities of firefighters, who are regarded as heroes by the public. This event is expected to become a meaningful opportunity for the passion of fandoms and the influence of artists to translate into social contribution.
Kim Chunghyun, PR Manager of the Hope Bridge Communications Team, stated, "This campaign is special because the support of globally recognized K-pop fans will be donated in the name of their favorite artists," adding, "We hope that the passion of fandoms will expand into sharing and encourage participation in donations for firefighters."
