Pyeongchang County Moves Mountain Area Permit Services Online... Less Inconvenience, Higher Satisfaction for Residents
Operation of the Sanjirang Integrated Information System (San-e-rang) Since 2023
Pyeongchang County in Gangwon Province has been operating the Sanjirang Integrated Information System (San-e-rang) since 2023 to efficiently manage and process civil petitions related to mountain area permits.
Previously, residents had to visit the county office in person during weekday business hours to handle matters related to mountain areas. However, with the launch of the San-e-rang public portal, it is now possible to submit civil petitions online, provide supplementary documents, and check official notices and guidance. In addition, petitioners receive automated notifications via text message and email, allowing them to conveniently complete their work without unnecessary visits.
In particular, the system has improved user convenience by offering GIS (Geographic Information System)-based spatial information services, such as parcel information inquiries and thematic map checks, as well as real-time updates on the status of petitions. Applicants can simply enter their personal information and required documents, pay the necessary fees, and complete the process with ease. The system also supports payment by credit card and bank transfer, further enhancing accessibility.
