It was attended by officials responsible for biological terrorism response from related agencies in the county, such as the Cheongsong Police Station and Cheongsong Fire Station, as well as staff from the Public Health Medical Center.
The training placed emphasis on enhancing practical response capabilities by combining theoretical education with hands-on practice.
In particular, based on the guidelines for biological terrorism preparedness and response produced and distributed by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency in 2023, the roles and procedures for each agency-including health, police, and fire departments-were reviewed. Additionally, members of the Cheongsong Fire Station Rescue and Emergency Center provided on-site demonstrations by explaining the functions and usage of Level A protective suits and showcasing the process of donning and doffing the suits.
