BNK Busan Bank (headed by Bang Sungbin) is deploying the 'BNK Busan Bank Foreign Supporters' at a total of 13 branches, including those located within universities in the Busan area and in neighborhoods with high concentrations of foreign residents, to enhance financial convenience for its foreign customers.

View original imageThe Foreign Supporters are comprised of foreign residents and international students of various nationalities. Their role is to assist foreign customers visiting the branches so they can access financial services without language barriers.
In addition, Busan Bank operates a variety of specialized services and products for foreign customers. These include exclusive accounts, loans, and card products for foreigners, as well as the 'Foreign Customer Specialized Branch' (Gimhae Financial Center), which features dedicated service counters for foreign clients. The bank also provides an 'AI Translation Chat Service' supporting 17 languages.
At the start of each new semester, Busan Bank operates mobile branches at major local universities to assist new international students with opening domestic accounts and issuing check cards. Branches frequently visited by international students are equipped with digital desks supporting seven languages, which are designated as 'International Student Consultation Counters.'
Furthermore, at its Gimhae Airport branch and currency exchange office, the bank provides the 'Departure Maturity Insurance Payment Service' for foreign workers. In the second half of the year, Busan Bank plans to introduce a 'KRW Collection and Overseas Bulk Remittance Service' for seasonal workers from Laos, aiming to reduce overseas remittance fees and deliver tangible financial benefits.
