The competition was held over two distances, 5 km and 10 km, and attracted participants from elementary school students to older adults, creating a venue for intergenerational harmony.
The opening ceremony was attended by major figures including Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, Han Geunsoo, Chairman of the City Council's Autonomous Administration Committee, city council members, Yoon Sunghyun, President of Namyangju City Sports Council, Moon Jungman, President of Namyangju City Track and Field Federation, and Lim Chunae, former national track and field athlete. They encouraged the participants and pledged continued interest and support for the promotion of community sports.
