Taejin Kim of Seo District Council Wins 2025 Law Journal Local Legislative Award
Taejin Kim, a member of the Gwangju Seo District Council from the Progressive Party, received the Local Legislative Excellence Award in the legislative activities category at the "2025 Law Journal Local Legislative Awards" hosted by Law Journal.
The "2025 Law Journal Local Legislative Awards" is a prestigious award that recognizes local council members who have contributed to regional development and demonstrated exemplary legislative activities through outstanding ordinances and policy research.
On September 2, Law Journal announced the winners of the "Outstanding Ordinance" category of the Local Legislative Awards, with 21 local council members nationwide receiving awards in the legislative category.
Assemblyman Kim was honored with this award in recognition of his role in enacting the "Gwangju Seo District Emergency Safety and Reassurance Service Emergency Management Personnel Treatment Improvement and Support Ordinance." He also received positive evaluations for holding follow-up meetings to actively gather feedback from emergency management personnel and reflect their opinions in policy.
