Nonsan City and AFC India Sign Business Agreement
Boosting Farmers' Income and Strengthening Competitiveness Expected
Nonsan agricultural products from South Chungcheong Province are set to leap into the global market, using their entry into India as a stepping stone.
The Nonsan city government announced on the 12th that it had signed a business agreement with AFC India Limited, an Indian agricultural finance corporation, at the city hall situation room on the 11th.
Accordingly, the city will work to expand agricultural exports and strengthen international exchange and cooperation.
Under this agreement, the two organizations will pursue various initiatives, including: cooperation for the exchange and export of high-quality fresh agricultural products and processed foods; stabilizing and expanding their presence in each other's markets; and multifaceted collaboration to strengthen agricultural trade.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mayor Baek Seonghyeon, Maurice Nathan, advisor to AFC India, Shabuddin Chowdhury, CEO of Dronii Exim, and other key figures, who shared a vision for agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
