Two Courses from the Department of Police Administration
Offered in the Second Semester of the 2025 Academic Year
Silla University (President Heo Namsik) has been selected for the "2025 Academic Year Curriculum-Based Regional Linkage Program" and will offer lectures for first- and second-year high school students in the Busan area.
The "Curriculum-Based Regional Linkage Program," organized by the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, is a program that utilizes university faculty and facilities to offer subjects that are difficult to open at high schools or courses requested by small groups of students.
During the "2025 Academic Year Second Semester Curriculum-Based Regional Linkage Program," which will run from September 6 to November 8, Silla University will offer four subjects: "Police Studies," "Police Administration," "Film Creation and Expression," and "Introduction to Aircraft."
It is noteworthy that the Department of Police Administration at Silla University will be responsible for two of these courses.
Professors Kim Sunseok and Cho Minsang from the Department of Police Administration, who will each be in charge of the "Police Administration" and "Police Studies" courses, stated that they have prepared these classes to help high school students explore career paths in the police field and gain a deeper understanding of police organizations.
In addition to theoretical learning, a variety of practical programs have been organized-including expert lectures and mentoring programs-so that students can concretely plan their futures, making for a meaningful and beneficial experience.
Cho Minsang, head of the Department of Police Administration at Silla University, said, "The fact that Silla University is offering four subjects in this project is a testament to our recognized educational leadership in each field," adding, "The Department of Police Administration will do its utmost to help students grow into professionals with expertise and a sense of duty in the police profession."
