Hanmi Science has previously held this program at various sites, including the Paltan Smart Plant and the Pyeongtaek Bioplant, where it received positive feedback from employees. This year, the program was held for the first time at the R&D Center, with more than 60 researchers, including R&D Center Director Choi Inyoung, participating.
During the performance, the mixed-gender five-member a cappella group "MTM" presented ten diverse pieces, including classical and chanson songs. The event provided researchers, who are usually focused on new drug development, with a rare opportunity for cultural enjoyment and relaxation. In particular, the performance was designed to encourage active participation from the researchers for each song, resulting in enthusiastic cheers and applause.
According to a satisfaction survey conducted among participating researchers after the concert, 95.1% responded that they experienced "healing" through the cultural and artistic program, and the same percentage expressed a desire to participate in such programs in the future.
Lee Junghwa, a researcher at the Hanmi Pharmaceutical R&D Center, said, "While I sometimes feel busy and exhausted when immersed in research, I enjoyed this performance because it made me feel emotionally recharged."
