[Photo] Incheon Airport Customs Uncovers Indirect Exports of Gold Products with Falsified Certificates of Origin
On September 12, at the export-import customs office of Incheon Airport Customs, an Incheon Airport Customs officer is displaying goods, including gold products, that were falsely labeled as Korean-made for indirect export. Incheon Airport Customs has uncovered seven companies that falsified certificates of origin for gold processed products (worth 283.9 billion won), designating them as Korean-made to circumvent the high tariffs imposed by the United States on gold processed products from China, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and exported them indirectly to the United States.
