Choi Siwon's "Rest in Peace"... Tribute to Charlie Kirk Deleted After Shooting Death
Posted on social media, then deleted just hours later
Choi Siwon, a member of the group Super Junior, posted a tribute to Charlie Kirk, a conservative American political activist and known close associate of former U.S. President Donald Trump, but then abruptly deleted it.
On the 11th, Choi Siwon posted a photo on his social networking service (SNS) with the phrase "REST IN PEACE CHARLIE KIRK" inscribed on it.
This image was created to honor Kirk, who passed away on the 10th (local time).
The photo posted by Choi Siwon featured Kirk's face along with a cross illustration, and the background music was set to "Rescue" by renowned American contemporary Christian music singer Lauren Daigle. Choi Siwon also uploaded another image of Kirk with his family, which included the Bible verse, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
However, Choi Siwon deleted the memorial post after a few hours.
Kirk died on the 10th (local time) after being shot during a debate held at Utah Valley University in Utah, United States.

He was known as a staunch supporter and close associate of President Trump.
