Gyeonggi Agricultural Research and Extension Services Selects 12 Teams of Smart Farming Managers
Gyeonggi Province has selected 12 teams of smart farming managers.
On the 11th, the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services held the "2025 Gyeonggi-do Smart Farming Management Innovation Contest" at the Agricultural Science Education Center and selected a total of 12 teams as award recipients. This contest was organized to strengthen farmers' capabilities in developing online markets and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), as well as to spread outstanding case studies.
The contest was divided into four categories: smart management, smart content (general and senior), smart marketing, and cyber farmer research group activities.
A total of 28 teams participated in the preliminary round held in August.

View original imageAt the event, the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services offered a variety of programs to help farmers expand their online sales channels, including a session on how to use AI for farm log writing, sharing examples of creating AI logo song shorts videos, and a live commerce demonstration by Son Bodal, CEO of Solbawi Farm, who has over 750,000 YouTube subscribers.
The Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services plans to introduce a new AI-based management improvement category starting next year and expand online competency training such as live commerce, focusing on young farmers.
