Acquired 70% Stake for 68.6 Billion Won
Naver Pay announced on September 11 that it has acquired a 70% stake in Securities Plus Unlisted, the unlisted stock trading platform previously operated by Dunamu, for 68.6 billion won. Securities Plus Unlisted is a subsidiary of Dunamu and has been designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission since 2020.
Naver Pay and Securities Plus Unlisted plan to undergo the licensing process for 'over-the-counter brokerage business,' which the financial authorities are expected to introduce. Naver Pay stated, "We aim to establish a virtuous cycle by enhancing information transparency for unlisted companies and facilitating the raising of investment capital."
