View original imageAccording to the county on the 11th, the event was held under the theme "A Gender-Equal Society Where Everyone is Respected, A Happier Imsil for All" to raise public interest and build consensus on gender equality, as well as to foster a gender-equal local community.
More than 300 people attended the ceremony, including County Governor Sim Min, members of the county council, members of the Women's Association Council, and local residents. The event featured a variety of programs such as awards for distinguished contributors, a commemorative performance, a lecture on gender equality, and a band performance.
Hwang Jeongja, President of the Imsil County Women's Association Council, said, "I ask for your continued interest and efforts so that women and men can become harmonious partners in all areas of family, workplace, and society, and so that women can share roles and responsibilities within the family."
