The project gained momentum after the commencement of the detailed design service in June 2023, followed by negotiations with the Wonju Regional Environmental Office for river use permits, leading to final approval this June. Subsequently, the project passed Gyeonggi Province's contract review and the county’s own audit process, culminating in the signing of the construction contract.
Gapyeong County expects that the establishment of this park golf course will provide residents with a healthy leisure space and expand the foundation for community sports, thereby contributing to improved health and quality of life.
