Explosion at Army Unit in Paju Leaves Two Seriously Injured
On September 10, an explosion occurred at an Army unit located in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, injuring eight people with moderate to serious injuries.
According to military authorities and the police, the explosion took place at around 3:29 p.m. that day at an Army unit in Jeokseong-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
So far, eight people have been reported injured in the accident, with two classified as seriously injured. No fatalities have been confirmed as of now, but the number of injured may increase. The explosion is believed to have been caused by a training aid bomb detonating during an exercise.
