Anseong to Launch City Loop Bus "Route 90" Starting on the 16th
Completion of Downtown Loop Network Following Route 91
Connecting City Hall and Public Facilities to the Old Downtown to Eliminate Transportation Blind Spots
On September 10, the city of Anseong in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will begin operating the city loop bus "Route 90," which connects major points in the old downtown area, starting on the 16th. With the opening of this new route, the city explained that the city loop bus network will be completed, together with Route 91, which began operation in July.
Route 90 starts at Anseong Medical Center and passes through Biryong Middle School, Anseong High School, Anseong City Hall, Anseong Customized Art Hall, the public health center, and the old terminal. It will operate 63 times a day from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with intervals between buses ranging from 10 to 25 minutes.
Previously, since July 29, the city has been operating the city loop bus "Route 91," which connects Anseong Medical Center, National Sports Center, Bongsan Rotary, Anseong Customized Community Center, Ayang District, and Emart.
The city expects that the opening of this new route will significantly improve accessibility to major public institutions such as City Hall, as well as commercial and residential hubs, greatly helping to alleviate the inconvenience of residents in public transportation blind spots throughout the old downtown area.
