Taebaek City Presents "A Harmony Within Taebaek" at Local Attractions... Continuing Through October
Taebaek City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Lee Sangho) announced on September 10 that "A Harmony Within Taebaek," a music performance enjoyed by both citizens and tourists at local attractions, is being held for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
This event is hosted and organized by the local club Arpeggio, with support from Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, Taebaek City, and the Taebaek City Council. Local artists are presenting performances across various genres, expanding Taebaek's major tourist sites into cultural spaces.
The performances held last August at Yongyeon Cave and the Sunflower Festival venue attracted many citizens and tourists, receiving an enthusiastic response. Following this, a series of diverse performances are scheduled: at Cheoram Soebawugol Market on September 13, Hwangji Pond Piano Stage on September 14, Dangol Square on October 4, Tongri Market on October 25, and Hwangji Pond again on October 26.
A Taebaek City official stated, "This performance was organized as an opportunity for local artists and citizens to come together and enjoy culture," adding, "We will continue to promote Taebaek's appeal as a cultural city through performances that harmonize with the city's various attractions."
