Gyeonggi Job Foundation Recruiting Participants for "Women's Startup Competition"
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation is recruiting participants for "Plus Day," a follow-up event to the 2025 Women's Startup Competition, until September 16.
"Plus Day," which will be held on September 30, is designed for women entrepreneurs who narrowly missed selection in the highly competitive 17-to-1 ratio of the May competition. After a document screening process, a final group of 10 companies will be selected. The selected companies will receive an award for outstanding enterprises, 500,000 KRW in commercialization support funds to help turn their ideas into businesses, and mentoring from startup experts.
Yoon Deokryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, stated, "A good idea can sprout with even the smallest opportunity," and added, "I hope this Plus Day will be a much-needed opportunity for women in the province who dream of starting their own businesses."
