View original imageHonam University announced on September 9 that students from the Department of Computer Engineering achieved excellent results in the "2025 First Semester Local Community Problem Solving Startup Idea Competition" organized by the Startup Education Center.
This competition was held to discover creative startup ideas that could address local issues in Gwangju. In the event, Lee Chanho (doctoral student), Song Woojin, and Jeon Daehyuk (both fourth-year undergraduates) from the Department of Computer Engineering each led their own teams.
As a result of the competition, the "Road Damage Detection and Maintenance Management System" (Lee Chanho and Yoo Eunsung) and "BlockSense" (Song Woojin and four others) each won the grand prize, while "Personalized Support Policy Notification" (Jeon Daehyuk and four others) received the excellence award.
