View original imageAttorney Oh (18th Judicial Research and Training Institute class) is a competition law specialist who has handled numerous major cases in the field of fair trade during over 30 years of experience at the court and a major law firm. He graduated from Seoul National University School of Law, served as a research judge at the Supreme Court and as a judge at the Seoul and Chuncheon District Courts, and then led the Fair Trade Group at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC for over 20 years. In 2016, he oversaw the case representing Apple, an interested party, in the Fair Trade Commission's imposition of the largest-ever fine on the US semiconductor company Qualcomm.
Advisor Shin (35th Administrative Examination) is an expert in the enforcement and policy-making of fair trade law, having worked at the Fair Trade Commission for over 30 years. He held key positions such as Director of the Cartel Investigation Bureau and Director of the Market Surveillance Bureau, overseeing cases such as the abuse of market dominance by Naver and Google, as well as major cartel cases involving large conglomerates. Advisor Shin has also served as a professor, bridging academia and policy practice.
