DK Asia announced plans to introduce the nation's first road train at Shingeomdan Royal Park City II and to operate a community space in the Royal Honors Avenue commercial facility within the complex, where residents can enjoy music, communication, and leisure.
The Royal Train is a trackless train that runs on wheels, a unique healing attraction previously only available at large amusement parks such as Samsung Everland. This marks the first time in Korea that a train will operate within an apartment complex, a project made possible by the wide spacing between buildings and the spacious layout of the complex, allowing for a 16-meter-long train to run comfortably.
Royal Park Citizens can enjoy special, childlike moments as they travel on the Royal Train, taking in the seasonal scenery and landscaping. The Royal Train operates at a safe speed of 5 to 7 km/h, making it enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or gender. It is more than just a means of transportation; it is a unique lifestyle feature that allows residents to experience the entire complex as a premium resort.
A total of five Royal Trains are scheduled to operate, each consisting of a locomotive and passenger cars, with a maximum capacity of 16 people. Both Royal Park Citizens and visitors can ride the train by making a reservation in advance or registering on-site. In addition to running within the complex, the train will also operate as a tourist route connecting the pristine buckwheat flower fields and the Hwangto Simnigil, offering a special, travel-like healing experience right outside one's home.
At the same time, a "Royal Music Room" will be established in the commercial facility within the complex. This will consist of six hotel-style premium music rooms, providing an emotional healing community where families and neighbors can sing and share laughter together. Operating hotel-style premium music rooms within an apartment complex is a first in Korea, and it is expected to be more than just entertainment?serving as a space for healthy relaxation and emotional healing, connecting hearts and relieving daily stress.
Jo Jaeman, CEO of DK Asia, stated, "The true value of South Korea's first resort city is not something that can only be enjoyed by traveling far away, but is naturally filled in the spaces and moments close to everyday life." He added, "The Royal Train, which operates both inside and outside the complex, offers families the special experience of returning to childhood and traveling through the seasons, while the hotel-style premium music rooms create spaces where neighbors and families can laugh and sing together, making everyday life itself a healing experience."
