Shooting Attack on Bus in Jerusalem Leaves 6 Dead
Two Suspects Shot and Killed
A shooting attack occurred in Jerusalem, Israel, resulting in casualties of more than ten people, according to reports.
According to reports from the Times of Israel and Ynet on September 8 (local time), at around 10:13 a.m. that day, two assailants opened fire on citizens riding Bus No. 62 at a bus stop near the Ramot intersection in northern Jerusalem.
Six people were killed and at least ten others were injured in the incident. As many of the injured are in critical condition, the death toll may rise.
The military and police announced that the two suspects, who were from Ramallah in the West Bank, a Palestinian region, were shot and killed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the scene shortly after the incident, offered condolences to the families of the victims, and wished for the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "Unfortunately, the war continues in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria," adding, "This only strengthens our resolve to fulfill our mission throughout Judea and Samaria."
