On Monday, the 8th, the central regions are expected to remain mostly clear, while occasional rain is forecast for the southern regions.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 7th, the central regions will see partly cloudy skies the following day, while the southern regions and Jeju Island are expected to be mostly overcast. Rain is forecast for the southern regions, including Gyeongnam and Jeonnam. This rain is expected to continue through the 9th.

The expected rainfall amounts through the 9th are as follows: Gwangju and Jeonnam, 30 to 80 mm (with some areas exceeding 100 mm); Jeonbuk, 5 to 40 mm; Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, 10 to 60 mm; Daegu and Gyeongbuk, 5 to 30 mm; and Jeju Island, 10 to 60 mm (with some areas exceeding 80 mm).

Some areas experiencing rainfall may also see gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning. In particular, from nighttime through the morning of the 9th, very heavy rain of around 30 mm per hour is expected, especially in the Jeonnam region and Jeju Island, so caution is advised for safety.

For the time being, temperatures will remain higher than the seasonal average (morning lows of 16 to 21 degrees Celsius, daytime highs of 25 to 29 degrees Celsius), and the heat is expected to continue. Some coastal areas of Jeju Island may experience tropical nights. Morning lows will range from 17 to 26 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will fluctuate between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperatures in major regions are as follows: Seoul, 21 degrees; Incheon, 21 degrees; Suwon, 20 degrees; Chuncheon, 18 degrees; Gangneung, 21 degrees; Cheongju, 21 degrees; Daejeon, 20 degrees; Jeonju, 21 degrees; Gwangju, 23 degrees; Daegu, 23 degrees; Busan, 26 degrees; and Jeju, 27 degrees. The maximum temperatures are: Seoul, 30 degrees; Incheon, 29 degrees; Suwon, 29 degrees; Chuncheon, 29 degrees; Gangneung, 32 degrees; Cheongju, 29 degrees; Daejeon, 28 degrees; Jeonju, 28 degrees; Gwangju, 29 degrees; Daegu, 31 degrees; Busan, 30 degrees; and Jeju, 31 degrees.

Fine dust concentrations nationwide are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels due to smooth air circulation and the effects of precipitation.

Waves in the sea are expected to range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the East and South Seas, and around 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in all seas, including the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
