Previously, at a Coldplay concert held in July, she became the center of global attention after the kiss cam captured her in an intimate back hug with Andy Byron, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Astronomer, exposing their affair to the audience.

Couples featured on the kiss cam usually kiss affectionately or wave at the camera, but the two hurriedly covered their faces and left their seats. As a result, suspicions of an affair arose immediately at the venue.

A member of the audience filmed the scene on the big screen and uploaded it to social networking services (SNS), causing the affair controversy to spread worldwide.

Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, resigned three days after the controversy broke out. Shortly after, Kristin also stepped down from the company. If this divorce is finalized, it will be Andrew's third divorce.

At the time of the kiss cam incident, Andrew was reportedly on a business trip to Japan and only learned of his wife Kristin's affair after returning home.

Julia Cavallari, Andrew's ex-wife, gave a harsh response to the incident. Julia, a yoga instructor, was married to Andrew for four years from 2014 to 2018.

In an interview with the media, she said, "I texted Andrew right after the scandal, and he replied, 'Her life has nothing to do with me now. We're already breaking up.'"

Julia went on to say, "Andrew is not husband material, and Kristin is not wife material either," offering a blunt assessment. She also revealed that after the incident, people around her mocked the situation, sending her messages referring to it as 'karma.'

Kristin and Andrew had purchased a house with four bedrooms worth 2.2 million dollars (approximately 3.1 billion won) earlier this year, just five months before the scandal broke out.

The New York Post added that neither Kristin nor Andrew responded to requests for comment regarding this matter.
